Christopher Smith: Home
As Luck Would Have It!
You've stumbled upon the website of performing songwriter Christopher Smith. Welcome to my Cozy Corner of the web.
We've got big news over here at the Smith Camp. My latest album, Gravedigger's Boy, is is reviewed in the Spring Issue of Sing Out! Magazine. It doesn't get much better than this. Sing Out! is the best folk music magazine out there and has been my favorite since I was a kid. Getting into the pages is a huge thrill for me. Go out and pick up the issue today. It's a win for everyone!
I've got some local gigs coming up. Please check the calendar page for all of the details. I hope to see you out there.
If you are interested in receiving news about where I am playing, please sign the mailing list. It comes with the usual promise not to stuff your mailbox with notices about my gigs in Antarctica, and a solemn oath not to share your address with any shady characters.
With the release of Gravedigger's Boy, you can download some previously unreleased material to tickle your ears. The music page will feature some complete mp3 downloads.
We have also just added my two childrens' CDs, Carry Me Home and Golden Gate to the Products page. If you have kids, these award winning albums are sure to please without driving you crazy! Full of all original songs, both CDs are available for purchase.
Also, be sure to check out the updates on the What's New page. My song, Dead Horse Trampoline, off of the Sweet River Grace CD, seems to have a life all its own.
Thanks for dropping in. I hope that you will come back and visit again soon. We'll hoist a few and knock 'em down.
